I downloaded a base for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures from Thingiverse, which resulted in a little frustration on my part. The pegs in the STL file were 7/64″, which worked for some of my figures but not others. Granted, the file explicitly said that it worked for NECA figures, but you’d think that peg holes were standard. They’re not!
I used a caliper to figure out peg sizes on some of my figures. NECA uses a 7/64″ hole most of the time, but Super7 and the original TMNT Playmates figures use a 1/8″ (8/64″) hole. If you want to print the linked STL file for your 1/8″ figures, scale it up by 14.5% – 15% and it’ll fit your 1/8″ pegs!
